Are there anti-siphon features that will prevent me from draining my gas tank for repairs?
Trying to change the gas tank on a 1985 Chevy pickup. There seems to be a barrier/90 degree angle that the hose isn’t penetrating. Help would be appreciated.

There is only one safe way to ensure proper drainage, remove it, just that simple, as for as anti-siphon equipment, there is no way to drain it from the entry port of gas! Trash settles to the bottom and clog up the fuel filter and water remains on top if not mixed and will avoid being siphon entirely no matter how long you do!
